Tina, yorkshire born and bred, has performed worldwide as a solo artist, session musician and band member playing classical and jazz Clarinet, Tenor Sax and Flute.
The Tina Featherstone Trio was formed in 1990. The long awaited first album ‘No More Blues’ was a well balanced mix of well known jazz standards which was recorded in September 1990. She is shortly to record her second album of her own works, which will be performed right here at Limetree this year!
Her influences and sound has been likened to some of the greats such as: Stan Getz, Lester Young, Artie Shaw, Sydney Bechet and Eddie Daniels.
