Formed since last years Limetree festival, where they all performed in their own right, Tom, Aoife and Joe started this new collaboration – an alchemy of acoustic songs and electronic pro-duction.
The project comprises Aoife Hearty’s sweet and captivating vocals, funky electronics and programming courtesy of Tom Taylor and Joe Tatton (The New Mastersounds, Haggis Horns) adding synths, keys and the like. Futuristic and electronic fused with iazzy and suave, their quirky disco will be hard to pigeon-hole. Tom Taylor has extensively remixed artists such as Daft Punk, Kelis, Erykah Badu, Armand Van Heiden, Crazy P, Robert Owens, Francesco Tristano, DJ T and many more.
Tom was also signed with 2020 vision with The Electric Press and produced the hit “Re-evaluate” He has DJ’d all over the world in Sydney, Dubai, Switzerland and recently worked with Robert Owens on the Compost label.
Rodina’s received great reviews and airplay too for the chilled album “Over the Sun” last year from the likes of Mark Lamarr and also performed in places such as Menorca, Istanbul and Manchester Jazz Festival!
