‘Rektchordz’ is 26 year-old Bristol dweller Jamie Smithson, already heralded in many quarters as one of the brightest young things in the Electro House & Tech-Funk firmament.
Over the last 6 years Jamie has had a hugely successful string of originals and remixes with: U&A, Simma, Lot 49, Vicious Bitch and Straight Up Music, along with remixes by: Calvertron, Autokratz, Lee Mortimer, Vaski, Elite Force and Meat Katie. The Rektchordz sound has had continued support from major players such as: Steve Aoki, Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Popof, Plump Djs, Stonebridge, Beataucue, Hatiras, Micky Slim, Radio One, Santiago & Bushido etc.. On the performance front, Jamie has performed throughout the USA and Europe including his residencies @ fracture-Lot 49 (London/Birmingham) Breakbeat Massive (Budapest) and Breakspoll award winning ‘The Drop’ (Bristol)
