Northern Jazz Orchestra
The Northern Jazz Orchestra was formed in 1989 by drummer and musical director Paul Rigby.
Working to develop their own unique sound, they combine the best of big band standards with more contemporary jazz using the top young musicians in the north.

Playing the music of Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Count Basie, Stan Kenton and Harry Connick Jr. the band has appeared with such guest stars as Bobby Shew, Mark Nightingale, Kenny Baker, Jiggs Wigham, Elaine Delmar, Al Woods and Jeff Hooper.
