Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip
Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip are Northern cowboys who are forever making cups of tea and
leaving early. They ran rampant around England doing eighteen festivals including Glastonbury, Leeds Fest,
and Latitude. A beautiful bunch of men( Mik particularly) who play an astonishing blend of rock and roll stand up.
Mik rambles around the stage like a rambler, singing, spouting and sprayin straws everywhere.
Johnny Flockton studiously bashes away on guitar , and Benson Walker grins expansively on bass and gets to do a bit of backing singing.
Faust love ‘em,so do Mick Jones, Zodiac Mindwarp….and John Cooper Clark.
There’s a radio 4 show called “Mik Artistik won’t play ball!” due out soon and Mik is playing a gravedigger in a feature film being made this summer…

News Update
Who is Mik Artistik?” a 30 minute documentary just been shown at the Clones Film Festival in Ireland at the weekend .
Jackie Jarvis directed it ..watch out for her.
She’s hopin to get it to some other film fests this year.
