Merry-Go
Quite simply four really nice lads … with extremely good songs…
Formed in 2006 this quartet hailing from the north country, Wakefield’s finest “Merry-go” mix 80’s power-pop and their own unique sounds (guitar sounds like the best guitar music from the 90’s and 00’s to deliver great music…

They have been compared to such 80’s acts “Big Country” and “Deacon Blue”
Mixed with the influences of today’s bands “Nada Surf” “U2” and “Biffy Clyro” their songs will have your hips moving and keep your head bopping.
“A band that have found their “own” true sound in today’s music scene.”
David Bash promoter of Liverpool Sound City 2009
“Wakefield’s Finest”
David Pickergill (music editor) Wakefield Express 2009….
In October 2009 Merry-go won the Exposure Music Award for “Best Out Of Area band East”. They are still reeling!!!
More recently through to the live regional finals of Live & Unsigned 21st March 2010 ….
