Jesus And His Judgemental Father
Formed in October 2010 through a mutual love of pop punk, Jesus and his Judgemental Father first got to know each other through the Leeds underground queer scene. Frequenting gigs by the likes of the Delorean Drivers, Fanny diWanko, Tiny Tin Lady and Amazon Molly, they bonded over their need for delicious hooks and sweet, sweet pop punk harmonies.
Jesus sing songs about the gender police, girls and tentacle love. They’re a blend of pop, punk and ska, citing artists such as Weezer, Ani Difranco, No Doubt and Green Day as large influences.
