Emily Leonard Band
Born in the Wirral, and now living in the Liverpool area, Emily is following her career as a singer-songwriter, a new and upcoming contemporary artist. Being surrounded by music from a young age sparked her passion, and it is clear that this has had a big influence on her music. Not only does emily write all the songs herself, she also plays the saxophone and incorporates this into her music, bringing a little spice to the repertoire and something that you don’t see every day! Although cased in a very petite frame, her feisty character comes across in her lyrics and performance. For such a small person, Emily has a big voice and is a complete individual.
Emily’s songs are incredibly unique, and she is loving working with such talented musicians in the form of her current band. Influences include: Stevie wonder, Christina aguilera, joss stone, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, jill Scott and corinne bailey rae, amongst others.
