Thabo The Real Deal

Thabo & The Real Deal

Since they formed late into 2010 Thabo The Real Deal decided they would make the type of music Bob Marley would listen to if he were still alive today.

This guiding principle sees them tackle political themes head on and dealing with relationship issues in a profoundly honest manner.

Their debut EP only hints at the energy delivered by this band onstage.

Matthew Bellwood
Leeds-based storyteller Matthew Bellwood tells cautionary tales about life, love and the importance of owning your own eagle – taking in everything from the Nina Simone Songbook to the arcane powers of Edgar Allan Poe along the way. Over the last few years, he has worked everywhere from the Edinburgh and Canadian Fringes to the International Shakespeare Conference in New Zealand. Along the way, he has performed in schools, libraries, theatres and pop-up museums, at DIY rock gigs and, on one memorable occasion, to an audience of 1,200 girl-guides in a tent.

Ekroy moT

Ekroy moT
Tom Yorke is a music producer that loves music with a passion, he makes music a lot, as well as doing other music things like music and music not forgetting musics, in his spare time he stops making music and makes sounds, these sounds he then likes to exploit to make sound exploited music, often the sounds produced are so weird they send him into a trance like state of intoxication causing the tunes to form themselves magically all without any real idea of how it has happened.

djim bluefoot

djim bluefoot
He was the numbskull behind Leeds’ first live open stage DJ/ Band jam event called “The Cushion” a long time ago. Probably best known for my work as the turntablist with “the bluefoot project” but also responsible for giving aural pleasure at Milo, Norman, North Bar, The Wardrobe, The Elbow Rooms etc etc, and more recently The Musiquarium. His DJ policy is “a little of what you fancy does you good.” When djim bluefoot is at the turntables he aims “to please most of the people most of the time”. He does not like onions.
