Animal Circus
Animal Circus are a four-piece band based in East London, their music is a mix of reggae, ska and good old fashioned rock’n’roll – all delivered with an authentic punk DIY ethic. Through live shows, social networking and giving their debut album away for free they’ve achieved great buzz and hype on the London gig circuit in a very short amount of time. In November 2010 the now fully formed Animal Circus recorded their debut self-entitled album at House of Strange Studios in East London, used by Noah and the Whale and Mumford and Sons. The album represents the early stage of the band’s development and the songs are the essence of their sound.
Animal Circus have been gigging frequently on the London circuit playing venues such as The George Tavern, Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, Café 1001, 93 Feet East, Carnivale, The Bowery and for three consecutive months Proud Galleries in Camden.
