About Us
A Return to How Festivals Used to Be
‘Limetree Festival is a 3 day Music & Arts festival, now in its fourth year of returning you to how festivals used to be. We are a Social Enterprise Community Interest Company and we love working in collaboration with others to achieve our aims of hosting an event of pure Joy! At the same time we aim to work in ways that are sustainable to the environment to one another and to the communities we work with.
We love and celebrate difference and it seems, with the help of our audience, we are fast becoming the most diverse, alternative and independent festival in the North of England.
The Setting & Facilities
It’s the setting that provides the magical back drop to the festival. With the blend of rolling hills, ancient woodland & wild flower meadows and such amazing features as the Stone Circle and an Iron-Age Round House, it can’t fail to enchant. The site has its own spirit and energy and provides the perfect, safe, setting for The Children’s Area and The Health & Healing field.
