One of the North West’s most creative and original melodic Folk/Rock bands SandS will be performing a late night semi/acoustic set of great music for the JBJazz Blues audience. Joining Tom Shevchuk and Russ Samuals from SandS on stage for this exclusive performance will be special guest Jo Samuals from Manchester’s rock quartet Greenfire. JB’s is proud to welcome them to the stage on Friday evening at this year’s Limetree festival.

Phil the Tank started mixing hardcore on his mate’s beltdrives at the age of 13. By the age of 16 he was already playing at various events, notably the new talent arena at Helter Skelter under the pseudonym ‘Ecstatic’.

Taking his name from an infamous (and now defunct) night spot in his home town of Halifax, Tramshed has been operating on the margins of club music for over a decade. Under different aliases he has collaborated with UK Hip Hop legends Dirty Diggers, and also co-hosted a radio show on Birmingham’s Burn FM with Hum & Buzz label boss Optimum. As a producer and DJ, Tramshed specialises in the current wave of House/Bass mutations, although in the past his sets have included Grime, R&B, Dirty South Hip Hop and Detroit Techno.

Ant TC1 along with Hidden Agenda founded Dispatch Recordings back in 2001, Ant originally helped out with the management side of the label before finding his feet within the realms of production; which was a natural progression for him having DJ’d on pirate radio and in clubs from the age of 15. His first release along side frequent studio partner Stress Level appeared on Dispatch after almost 3 years of hard work getting their collective sound where they felt it needed to be in the studio before even thinking about turning on the DAT recorder.

Bruno first became excited by electronic music in early 2007 by Cambridge’s longest running house and techno tastemakers, The Priory, who are responsible for throwing the highest quality underground do’s for 6 years strong. Their monthly endeavor gave him a small yet accelerated window into the industry and the music from a place where it was otherwise invisible.

London based DJ and Producer; Rob Mello has recorded, produced, and remixed a diverse catalogue of releases since 1992. One of his guises was the pioneering disco and house duo Disco Elements/ Sensory Productions, Previously signed to Azuli Records. Rob was also co-founder of the saucy house label Luxury Service and produced the first Black Science Orchestra single with Ashley Beedle, “Where were you”, released on the legendary London house label, Boys Own.
